If you've ever had the desire to know how to more effectively minister to others, then you'd be an ideal candidate for Ministry Training School!  Come join others of all ages in their quest to become fluent in every aspect of ministry and gain a more comprehensive Biblical foundation.  Part of Cliffdale Christian Center's vision is to train and equip believers so that they, in turn, may tell others about the Good News.  Ministry training School consists of three separate terms, each building upon the previous one.  You will receive Classroom instructions on many different subjects.  Here are just a few:

We believe that God is speaking to the church to prepare itself through sound scriptural teaching.  The Lord is raising up an army of soldiers to go forth and declare His Glory!  Preparation is an important part of any soldier's training and that is the purpose for the Ministry Training School. 

It is vital that each individual understand the commitment involved in this school.  This is intensive Bible training!  2 Timothy 2:2 says, "And the things that you heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also." 

This is a unique opportunity for you to prove yourself faithful, learn, become established as a doer of God's Word, and in turn, teach others.  We encourage you to pray, seek God, and then step out and join us for the next session of Ministry Training School. 

Our goal in MTS is to help you aggressively find the place God has for you.  We know that learning is only half that process the other half comes as you begin to step out and see what God will do with what you learn.  We want to help you hit the target He has set before you.  MTS is a course that will help you be an effective and affective minister.  Ministry means to serve and we want to help you serve effectively in the Body of Christ.  To start on that life-long journey of becoming a disciple of Jesus Christ.

Term I

In Term I, students are first taught how to study the Bible. Students are then taken through a systematic study of God’s Plan For Man. This includes a study of Redemption, Grace, The Name Of Jesus, The Blood Of Jesus and The Blood Covenant. It is imperative that students are grounded on an understanding of what Jesus has done and is doing for them. To complete Term I, there is a study of the Foundational Principles Of Christ as outlined in Hebrews 6; Repentance From Dead Works, Faith Toward God, Doctrine Of Baptisms, Laying On Of Hands, Resurrection Of The Dead, and Eternal Judgment.

Term II

Term II begins with a study of the Holy Spirit. It progresses as an overview of Motivational Gifts, Ministry Gifts, and Ministry Of Helps. Following this, the student is then equipped for Evangelism with hands-on experience. The student is taken through an in-depth study of the Separation Of Spirit, Soul, And Body with an understanding of the Devil, Demons, And Deliverance. Term II is rounded out with a lesson on achieving Excellence In Ministry.

Term III

Term III is an adventure into discipleship and getting closer to God. It starts with Hearing God, which is fundamental to every believer’s walk. This is followed by an intense teaching on Prayer and Fasting. A key study for any disciple is to learn the importance of Journaling. This is followed by an expository look at Praise And Worship and Understanding Spiritual Warfare. Term III finishes with an eye opening study of the Anointing and how we, as believers, can walk in it.

Schedule

Classes meet every Sunday morning from 8:00 - 10:30 a.m.  There is a new term starting every 3 months, if you are interested please call our office for more information.
